DESIGN STATEMENT
I am a visual and infographic designer based in the Bay Area, California. I have always been interested in both the technical and artistic aspects of the creative process and this led me to architectural studies and later to graphic representation of data. I love transforming complex information into pieces that are easy to understand and aesthetically pleasing. I use bold geometry and striking colours to reinforce clarity and wow factor. I enjoy working at the intersection of art and science, carefully balancing form and function to achieve greater visual and conceptual impact.

While living in Germany, Yana began professional courses in data analysis, coding, and data visualization, deepening her understanding of how to represent complex information visually. This technical expertise, combined with her artistic foundation, led her back to the visual arts.
